A special time of remembrance when you went home to be with the Lord, 7 years ago. You were truly a living legend that I had the pleasure of knowing and serving. You encouraged, motivated, inspired everyone in your presence. You made many of us into who we are today and I thank you for the wisdom and knowledge shared in my life and the lives of my children. I think of you often and wished you were still here. You were one of a kind, there will never be another even though they try to emulate and imitate. Gone but never forgotten. Our prayers are with the family and many friends as you are remembered. Peace, Love and Blessings

“Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Dr. C.A.Whitfield, a Pioneer for Forty Years in the Kingdom of God…”

Dear friends and family:
For over four decades, Dr. C.A.Whitfield served God by teaching and serving His people, making them the rulers of their own nation. He served the body of Christ as a pastor, a teacher, an apostle, and an evangelist, impacting the lives of believers and transforming the lives of sinners. He departed this life on September 10, 2012.
Pastor Patricia Whitfield and the members of Faith Covenant Christian Center invite you and your congregation to celebrate with us in a memorial service honoring Dr. Whitfield on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 5 o'clock P.M. at 2508 Ashley River Road, Hwy. 61.
In further memory of our late pastor, we will sponsor an annual scholarship fund for a deserving college student in Dr. Whitfield's honor where organizations, churches, and individuals will be recognized as sponsors who contributed to the scholarship fund. We are asking you and your congregation for your support. Donations may be submitted to FCCC/Scholarship Fund.
At the Memorial Service, we will ask our guest pastors to make a short pastoral response. We look forward to your presence, and may God continue to bless you, your family, and your church.

Yours in Christ,
Pastor Patricia D. Whitfield

My heart aches because of the loss of my former Pastor. For me, he is the first person to make it exciting to learn about the Lord. When I attended FGFT his teachings were absolutely infectious. I have Pastor to thank for many of my spiritual and personal successes. I have no words to express what he meant to my life. I will always love him and I miss him dearly.

To Pat, Mother Whitfield, Charles, John and the entire Whitfield Family, I extend my heartfelt and deepest sympathy during this difficult time. A joyful spirit has been raised up, in love and glory, the angels carry this bless soul to a home of heavenly peace. What a mighty, anoited man of God, Rev. Dr. Bishop Clifford A. Whitfield you will forever be missed but never forgotten. It was an honor to have served under your pastoral leadership and as an armor bearer. You imparted and implanted so much wisdom into my life personally and the lives of my children while under your ministry. Your teachings laid a foundation that can never be exchanged for anything less. The words that dwell within my spirit at this present are "Who is responsible for your success? I am, When does it start? Now, Will it work? Yes" Faith is the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things unseen" Heb. 11:1 We love you Bishop and know your teachings will live on forever. We find comfort in knowing the angels in heaven are smiling because we know you are among them and you are at heavenly peace, take your rest. A job well done! I saw this great teacher and leader move in the things and ways of God. he often made it seem so easy. I know of some of his struggles; but I love and respect how he would go away, sit under men he esteemed highly and when ready; come back stronger than before. He was a great builder and visionary that kept going and going to another dimension now, Lady Whitfield and children.

Keep the faith and remember, we will see Bishop Whitfield again! 1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

R. I. P. Clifford A. Whitfield, he was my pastor for 14 1/2 years, what an Awesome man of GOD whose HEART was for GOD, JESUS, and MINISTRY. One thing Pastor Whitfield taught me was the priesthood office does not exist anymore, and that God has no RESPECT of person, we are able to go to GOD for ourselves, and don't have to go through the pastor,
We are priest, 1 Peter 2.9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
