A special time of remembrance when you went home to be with the Lord, 7 years ago. You were truly a living legend that I had the pleasure of knowing and serving. You encouraged, motivated, inspired everyone in your presence. You made many of us into who we are today and I thank you for the wisdom and knowledge shared in my life and the lives of my children. I think of you often and wished you were still here. You were one of a kind, there will never be another even though they try to emulate and imitate. Gone but never forgotten. Dear friends and family:
For over four decades, Dr. C.A.Whitfield served God by teaching and serving His people, making them the rulers of their own nation. He served the body of Christ as a pastor, a teacher, an apostle, and an evangelist, impacting the lives of believers and transforming the lives of sinners. He departed this life on September 10, 2012.
Pastor Patricia Whitfield and the members of Faith Covenant Christian Center invite you and your congregation to celebrate with us in a memorial service honoring Dr. Whitfield on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 5 o'clock P.M. at 2508 Ashley River Road, Hwy. 61.
In further memory of our late pastor, we will sponsor an annual scholarship fund for a deserving college student in Dr. Whitfield's honor where organizations, churches, and individuals will be recognized as sponsors who contributed to the scholarship fund. We are asking you and your congregation for your support. Donations may be submitted to FCCC/Scholarship Fund.
At the Memorial Service, we will ask our guest pastors to make a short pastoral response. We look forward to your presence, and may God continue to bless you, your family, and your church.

First i would like to thank my uncle Clifford because i remember as a child my grandmother Loretta whifield bringing me to his church when he first started preaching the word of god. As a grown man today I'am happy that I was able to tell him how proud i was of him and that I love him.

Bishop Whitfield is ones of the General Of Faith. Because of this great man of god I have great faith. Thank you for all the teachings you instilled in me and my children. I join your church in 1995 and because of your teaching my life was never the same.
I remember you repeat this verse to us over and over:
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Bishop,thank you for all the tapes,books dvd's thank you for inspiring those that came in your presence.I carry you in my heart and I will never forget you I can see you now with Pop Hagin and Oral Roberts God bless you your son in the faith

My heart aches because of the loss of my former Pastor. For me, he is the first person to make it exciting to learn about the Lord. When I attended FGFT his teachings were absolutely infectious. I have Pastor to thank for many of my spiritual and personal successes. I have no words to express what he meant to my life. I will always love him and I miss him dearly.
