Nancy & Family,
Cliff and I worked together for a short period of time, but I always felt like a long time friend with him. Your memories of Cliff will help you get through this time of sorrow. Be sure to remember how he helped each one, brought laughter into the family and was a caring husband and father.
I am glad I got to know Cliff.
My prayers go out to you Nancy and your family.

Dear family, We regret so much the passing of our beloved Clifford. He was a brave fighter to the very end. We admired him and appreciated him for his efforts to preserve his father's photographic family history that covered several generations. This was quite an undertaking and one I know he wanted to complete. He worked on it until he no longer had the strength. The family will be forever grateful for his great effort. We will miss his loving smile and great humor at family reunions. We regret that we were unable to make it from Virginia for the memorial service. We will remember him in our hearts forever

To the family:
I met Mr. Hendrix as a new employee to Spartanburg District 7. I appreciate his immediate welcome. I am one who needs constant attention when it comes to technology and he was extrememly patient and friendly. I am also strengthened by his faith and witness. My prayers are for peace and comfort for your family.

Nancy,
So Sorry to hear of Cliffs loss. I had been kept up to date by Kathy McKenzie, so it was not a complete shock. The fact that the Guest book was signed by so many people throughout the Country, attest to the many hearts Cliff touched. The things he taught me about the game will be long remembered, and passed on to others.

Nancy, I am so sad to read about Cliff's passing. I met Cliff through our online band connection. We became friends over the last 5 or 6 years, and we maintained an ongoing dialog for much of that time.
I will play the "Mooseheart March", as played by the Spartanburg High School Band, many times over the coming weeks and months. I know it was one of Cliffy's favorites. I remember how frustrated he was in his attempts to get that song recorded digitally so he could share it with us. He took a fair amount of friendly ribbing from his efforts. It brings a smile to my face to think about how gracefully Cliff took our poking fun at him. I know I needn't tell you this, but I think Cliff was a really good man, and he was a good friend to me. I will miss him deeply.
I am including a photo of Cliff that is on the Band and Choir home page on Classmates.com. It has been there for years, and I hope it will remain there.

Nancy, Lovonia and family, I am sorry that I cannot get to the funeral and visitation for Cliff. I'll miss giving and receiving the hugs we all need. I did visit him a couple times recently. My sympathy for you all. Cliff was a terrific guy and he will be missed by all of us.

Nancy, I was sorry to read about Cliff's death. He was of great suuport to me when I was the Media Specialist at both Carver and Spratanburg High. I feel I know you, Stephen, and your family because of the many stories, pictures and computer videos he shared. You seemed to have great fun as a family. Carry those memories with you throughout this time of grief. Sincerely, Wanda Steele
