Your family has been blessed to have such a wonderful, godly man that you have called "Dad" all these years. When I think of how the Lord worked out all three siblings to be able to be with him, I can just hear Tip saying, "See, I told you God is sovereign!" I feel priviledged to have had him be my honorary dad for the last seven years. My family and I will miss him!

Dear Batten family, Im sorry for the loss of Clifford James Batten. God promises a day when all will be happy again. And death will be swallowed up forever. God does understand what you are feeling. And he cares greatly. He does not want his people to die, so he promises a day when all will reside upon his earth and no one will die ever again. There'll be nothing but peace and happiness without pain and suffering. The only tears cried will be tears of joy. But until then, may you rely on God and be at peace.

I remember vividly when I met Mr. Batten for the first time. He was visiting QBC and he came over to the hospital when i was after a big bike accident. He was with his wonderful daughter Barb, son inlaw Tim (our pastor) and my daughter whom they had kindly picked up from airport. My beloved dad Guy was visiting also. We had a wonderful time of fellowship and friendship with these two special gentlemen. I share your pain and loss and send our condolences from our family, les Désilets, to the Batten family. prayers from Québec city. Anne Désilets

We wish that we were closer so we could be with all of you to honor Tip's memory on Saturday. We have such wonderful memories since he was such an outstanding member of our extended family. We will miss him as will all of you, but we rejoice that he is now with Jesus!
