I will always remember Cléa and George who I considered almost like a grandfather to my baby Jeffrey. They had the same birthdays. My mother visited me and met Suzan whom she raved about. That was quite a compliment. When Cléa told me Suzan was thinking about taking a job in New Orleans, I told her no, the place was too corrupt. So, Suzan went on to Pennsylvania which I'm sure she has never regretted.

Cléa was one of the greatest people I've ever met. I'm sorry my circumstances didn't allow me to keep in touch or so it seemed. She was a wonderful person. My mother also enjoyed meeting Suzan. She thought she could be president.
I liked your whole family and have thought often about all of you. Your father had the same birthday as my son. I even went looking for George, Jr. as I thought he was in Chattanooga when I had a chance to drive that way. I thought he could tell me where Cléa was. But I got robbed on the way and ended up back in Louisiana.

George and Suzan, I have a niece in the Chattanooga area. It would be nice if y'all could meet. Besides her regular job, she's a musician and plays in the evenings sometimes. Clea and your father would have loved her!

Hello, several years ago I tried to find Clea but was unsuccessful for some reason. We lost track of each other, but some of my fondest memories are of my life in Charleston and visiting Clea, George, Sr., George, Jr., and Suzan with my son Jeff and husband Marco. Why did I finally find Clea? I wanted to tell her so much!

George and Susan, my prayers are with you and your families. Your mother took care of my son Bill and daughter Jan in the afternoons after school in Hanahan. She was a very sweet and caring lady and I appreciate the care she gave my children. Sincerely, Linda Tindall Knight
