Claude Miller Obituary

MILLER, SR., Claude Claude Pop Miller, Sr.,82, of Ravenel, widower of Margaret Koeper Miller died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 17, 2006 at 2 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial with full military honors will be held in the First Baptist Church of Ravenel Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 until 8 o'clock this evening. Flowers will be accepted. Mr. Miller was born March 19, 1923 in Ravenel, a son of the late Thomas Bell Miller and Abbie Gail Deese Miller. He attended Charleston County Schools. He was the founder of Miller's Hunting Club and a member of the North Carolina Hunting Club. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. He retired as a farmer and landowner and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ravenel. Surviving are, 1 son, Bobby Miller and his wife Linda of Ravenel; Grandchildren, Robbie Miller and his wife Jessica of Myrtle Beach, Kelly A. Miller of Ravenel, Randy Miller and his wife Loni of Ravenel; Daughter-in-law, Rainy Miller of Ravenel He was predeceased by his son and daughter: Claude P. I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Claude's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you. It had been a very long time since I'd seen Uncle Claude, but I remember him as a very kind and gentle man. He will be deeply missed.

funeral. I am pretty tied down here

due to Effie's health condition. Our

My deepest condolences to all of the

family. Some of my fondest memories were riding the roads at Miller Hunting Club looking for dogs and deer tracks. My father Otis Brabham and his brother Walter were members of the club. Its has been many years but I do remember your father and we are so sorry for your lost.
