I was an English teacher at Stall High during the early `80´s when I met Clarence. I found it very difficult to fit in since I was not from Charleston, but Clarence was always easy to talk with and very helpful to me. When I experienced the most embarrassing moment of my life, he made light of it and helped me find the humor in the situation! He was always my go to person for all school situations, and his wisdom and upbeat personality made my life at Stall a much more positive experience. He was a wonderful mentor and a truly inspirational person!
