Hello and condolences to the family of Mr. Kindred.
My name is Joey Kindred and I knew Clarence Kindred because he hired me at Orkin Pest Control, Charleston in 1988.
I had just finished with the U.S. Navy and I was looking for work before I started culinary school the next year.
Clarence took me back to his office and we talked for an hour and a Half about many things other thats the job. He told me about his Air Force career. I told him about my 4 years in the navy. We couldn't get over the fact that we shared the same last name. He hired me that day and I truly enjoyed working for him. He was a quite gentle person and loved God.
I've always remembered him fondly and regret I didn't stay in contact.
I typed his name in Google and found his obituary. I'm saddened too know he's not with us any longer, but I know he's praising Jesus today and forever.
Many kind wishes for his family.
Sincerely yours,
Joseph "Joey" Kindred

MR K,
My heart goes out to your family in their time of sorrow. I enjoyed the time that we worked together at CCDC and still think about the good ole days.
