Clara Mizell Obituary

Clara Rentz Mizell RIDGEVILLE - Clara Rentz Mizell, 95, of Ridgeville, widow of Robert G. Mizell, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at her daughter's residence. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday morning, July 25, 2012 at 10 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Lowcountry Baptist Church, 530 Beech Hill Road, Summerville, SC 29485. Mrs. Mizell was born December 24, 1916 in Islandton, South Carolina, daughter of the late Manley J. Rentz and Eugene Polk Rentz. She graduated from schools in Meggett. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She retired from the Cigar Factory as a wrapper stretcher and later worked as a greeter at Wal-mart. She was a member of Lowcountry Baptist Church. Surviving are: three sons and one daughter: Philip Mizell (Thelma) of Givhans, Robert Mizell (Teresa) of Givhans, David Mizell (Cathy) of Woodbine, Georgia and Suesette Creel (Marion) of Swansea, South Carolina, nine grandchildren, numerous step grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
