Cindy Kimbrell Obituary

Cindy Marie Kimbrell Mt. Pleasant - Cindy Marie Kimbrell, Mt. Pleasant, SC. Beloved wife of Michael Kimbrell and mother of Tyler and Meagan, passed away at her home on Sunday, July 10th, with her family. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 604 Pitt St., at 11:00 am, followed by interment at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, July 15, 2022, at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Cindy was the daughter of the late Bob and Donna Feeley of Plantation, Florida. After graduating high school with honors both academically and athletically, serving on prom and homecoming courts, Cindy entered Clemson University in the fall of 1986 as a business major. While at Clemson she met the love of her life, Mike Kimbrell, and spent much time watching Mike play baseball and enjoying college with all of her Clemson friends. Cindy and Mike married after graduation and Cindy went on to realize the overwhelming joy and love of raising her two children, Tyler and Meagan. Such a proud "Momma", Cindy was the consummate team mom and was in the stands for every sporting event from her children's days at Wando, to their years at Furman and Clemson. Despite her battle with breast cancer in the early 2000's, she always had a smile on her face and Mike by her side. She went on to enjoy many years of team tennis, and her love of the game was only surpassed by the love and friendships she made while playing. Cindy was also proud to be the referral administrator for Sweetgrass Pediatrics, a position she held for 15 years. What a wonderful experience it was for those of us fortunate enough to share a night of Karaoke, a Clemson Football Game, backyard volleyball, a game of cards, a Holiday or just a Lime-a-Rita with Cindy, Mike, Tyler and Meagan. Cindy is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Michael Kimbrell; her children, Tyler Whalen and Meagan Lindsy; brother, Robert Feeley; wife, Gail; and their children; sister, Jennifer Feeley; in-laws, Roy and Joann Kimbrell; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim, Luisa, Lisa, Norm, Laura, Kreg; and their children. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G. Komen, www.komen.org/community/south-carolina/ or, 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
