Happy Birthday Mom. I love you, and I miss you every single day.

To my Mom, my best friend...

You once told me that I was never your mistake but your blessing. Since you were so young when you had me, I always felt we had the opportunity to grow up together. Every choice you made and every path you took to better my life has been MY blessing. I could have never survived this world so far without you by my side guiding me in all the right directions. The past few months I have felt so lost without your smile. I tried to be your rock the way you were always mine. I could see you in your eyes but the rest of you was hurting and lost. The pain you felt can never be understood but now can be endured through everyone you left behind. We have your pain now. You can rest peacefully and guide us in spirit. I will always confide in you even if I don't get the answers. I can live my life knowing you are watching me and still loving me from above. You have given all the good in yourself to me, and you live on through me. I miss you so much and I await the day I can see you again. I love you!

To Cim's Family,

It was a long time ago, on a street called Avenue G. Cim and I used to climb the apple tree in her backyard and we'd pal around the whole day. She was a sweet girl, who loved to laugh and I'm so sorry to know that she is gone. I never forgot her and I never will.

I am so sorry to learn of your loss. I live in Carriage Oaks and learned of this tragedy from Cim's dear friend, Mary. My son, Mark Slivka, was born November 7, 1964 and passed on September 14, 2007 as the result of a similar tragedy. Mary told me that Mark and Cim were born the same day. I truly feel your loss and pain, and you are in my thoughts and prayers. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I know its been a long time, but I can still hear your laugh and see your smile. I am glad I got to know you and your family. You were a friend to everyone who knew you.

I grew up with Cim. It's been many years since I saw her. I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all.
