Chuck Reid, 73, of Elloree, SC, loving husband of Cynthia R. Reid, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025 at his residence with his wife by his side, after a month long illness. Monday, August 11, 2025 at 11:30 AM family will receive friends & guests until the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow in the Summerville Cemetery. Flowers are accepted. Chuck was born January 30, 1952 in Memphis, TN to Shuyler Reid II & Phyllis Kromer. He spent most of his professional life as a car dealer/salesmen. When he was not working he enjoyed spending time with his family. His hobbies were barbecuing, fishing, growing vegetables & riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. His favorite furbaby was his Shih Tzu "Harley". Chuck leaves behind his loving wife & best friend of 23 years Cindy Reid. Son, Scott Lincoln of Elloree, SC; daughters: Summer Crabtree (Buddy) of Cottageville, SC, Shyenne Reid of Summerville, SC, Tiffany A. Lincoln of Elloree, SC, and Heather L. Myers of Moncks Corner, SC; brother, Gary Reid (Diane) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; sister, Ann Snell (Don) of Telico Village, NC; sister-in-law, Linda K. Reid; and eight grandchildren. He is predeceased by his grandson, Logan James Bozeman; mother, Phyllis Folsom; father, Shuyler Reid II; step-father, Sydney Folsom; his "Nanny," Mabel Anderson Kromer; brother, Ricky G.
