Christopher Torella Obituary

Christopher Torella CHARLESTON, SC - Chris Torella died from being hit by a drunk driver on the morning of November 12, 2010. He was 23 and the son of Roger Joseph Torella and Susan Easterlin Wagenbrenner. Chris graduated from James Island High School in 2005. He was well loved and will be remembered by all those who knew him. The relatives and friends of Chris are invited to attend his funeral services on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at 12 o'clock (noon) at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. Friends may call at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel, Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Chris is survived by his father of Charleston, SC; his mother and stepfather, Charles Wagenbrenner of Charleston, SC; one brother: Craig J. Torella of Charleston, SC; maternal grandmother: Lila S. Easterlin of Lady Lake, FL; and paternal grandmother: Ann Torella of Medford, Long Island, NY. Chris was really fun to be around whether it was playing music or a video game with him. It was just always good to hear him laugh.
