Michael,Jan and the rest of Ryan's family, We just found this site. What a nice way for friends to let you know that they're thinking of you. It is impossible to comprehend the pain you are feeling. We know God had a bigger plan for Ryan. We believe he's in a much better place and free from pain. That doesn't make it hurt any less or answer any questions. There's many steps in the healing process and it will take time. Your friends will help you through it and will be there if you need them. Michael, Mike is a very good listener and comforter and will talk with you when you're ready. We're always just a phone call away. Our thoughts and prayers have been with you and will continue into the days and months ahead. We'll be looking forward to seeing you in the "cove" when you get back to Lake Lure.

So sorry to hear this news so late,and not be able to attend the service.Ryan was a wonderful player and had a great sense of humor.My prayers and thoughts go out to the family.

Meeting all of you has given me a different perspective in life that I will always carry in my heart. What a small world it is how we all met. Living next to you for 2 years and not even knowing his name. I feel it was a blessing caring for Ryan because it opened my eyes to who my neighbor was. The love and support all of you gave Ryan everyday exemplified how special a person he is. I have many fond memories of Ryan's kindness to me that I find myself thinking of him often. Despite all Ryan was going through, he was so pleasant, thoughtful, and giving. It was honor caring for Ryan and being a part of his life. My heart aches for the loss you all must endure. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Annika, Mckeel and Dosh were glad to hear that you wanted special memories of Ryan. They adored him when you two were so kind to care for our children when Everett was having treatment in N.C. I would have never been able to go to be with Everett, if you didn't stay with Cass. You had a special bond with him. I don't know if anyone else would have been able to get him to eat. You will always remain special in our hearts.
