A Memorial Service will be held on Friday morning, January 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Parks Funeral Home, 130 W. 1st North St., Summerville, SC, 29483. Flowers are accepted.
Marty was born on November 11, 1966, in Charleston, SC, a son of Joseph Cooper, Jr., and Angela Schiffiano Dorsey. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic and loved Fishing, cooking, and watching NASCAR.
Marty leaves behind his wife Gina Cooper; father, Bubba Cooper and his wife Janet of Moncks Corner, SC and his mother, Angie Dorsey and her husband Jessie of North Charleston, SC; daughters, Lora Blackwell and her husband Josh of Summerville, SC and Savannah Hamby and her husband Tyler of Charlotte, NC; sister-in-law, Judy Cooper of Charleston, SC; and three granddaughters Adylinn, Cameryn, and Collins. He was predeceased by his brother, Jimmy Cooper.
