My heart goes out with deep symphony to the Ancrum family for the loss of their beloved Christine. Christine was one of the nicest and kindness Voorhees College alumni that I have ever met. I always looking forward toward her smiling face and joyful spirit during the Voorhees College's homecoming weekend.

I always enjoyed talking and listening to Christine. I will truely miss her during homecoming. She was such a nice person to have know and call her your friend.

May God continue to comfort and strenghten you during this lost . Christine will be missed by all who knew her.

My prayers are with you during this time of lost. The last time I saw Christine it was during the passing of my sister, Hazel. She and her family were there to comfort us. She will truly be missed.

Seeing Christine's photo on the obituary page in the newspaper this week was such a shock and was such sad news. I worked with Christine in the Supply Department at the Charleston Naval Shipyard. In all the years I worked with her, I never heard anyone say an unkind word about her. I often saw her when she was working a second job at Marshall's, and she was always warm and friendly. What a loss to your family and all who knew her.

My deepest sympath goes to the Ancrum family. Ms. Christine was a lovely lady who cared deeply about others. It was a great pleasure working with her at Dfas. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Christine and I graduated from Voorhees College together. She was a very sweet person and will always be remembered for her kindness. To the family, trust our father for strength during this trying time. God will guide you through, so just take "One day at a time."

To the family, I have known Christine nearly 15 years and she was indeed one of the kindest people that you could ever hope to meet. Christine always had a smile and a joke waiting. I miss her already. It was truely a blessing to have known her.

I had the pleasure to be around Christine since I came to work in Dfas. Christine always had a smile for me. My wife Jackie talks about her smile all the time, when I would say anything about Christine Jackie would say you mean the one with the smile. We will sure miss Christine.

We worked in the same branch in the payroll office until a year ago and it was such a pleasure to work with her. I truly miss her. The day my dad, Craig, told me she passed away, I was thinking about her that very morning, before I got the news. She just happened to cross my mind.



Ms. Christine got me my very first job at Marshall's in Charleston. I can still hear her call my name, "Department One, you have a pick up at the service desk... Monie..." or "Monie to your register...Monie"



She will be truly missed by those who knew her. I know she is in a better place now.

When I saw her at our Voorhees College National Alumni Association Meeting in Greenville, little did I know it would be our last time together. Our parting words were "If it's the Lord's will, I'll see you at Homecoming." God invited her to the greatest homecoming ever and she accepted his invitation.

Your loss is my loss. I will miss her dearly. We went to Voorhees together and we attended the Homecomings every year. I last saw her in Greenville at the Voorhees Alumni meeting. She will surely be missed.
