She and her twin brother were the 4th and 5th children of 8 for their mother Winnie Olgesby Craven and father John Wesley Craven. Christine (Chris) is the widow of Kenneth O. Buchanan. She was his devoted wife and business partner for 40 years and the couple were longtime residents of Isle of Palms, SC. Christine was the loving mother of Lou Ann Parker of Summerville and Candy C. Our prayers are with your family at this time of great loss. My parents (Avanelle and Gus Tamsberg) spent many happy times with Christine and Kenneth. There always seemed to be much laughter involved. Your parents were special people. They will be remembered.

Dear Lou Ann and Candy,
So sorry to learn of Christine's passing. I loved her and your dad Kenneth dearly. They were like second parents to me when I went to your home on the Isle of Palms while growing up in Mount Pleasant. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time. God Bless You Always.
