Chris and I worked together for many years. She was a hard worker and often went beyond the call of duty to help others. She was a good example of what a "nurse" should be. I learned a lot while working with her. To her family, I express my condolences.

I met Chris exactly 30 years ago We were the only 2 in our VA orientation class and had a lot in common, each with our 3 babies. Chris didn't have a pretentious bone in her body and was loved by all! I'm going to miss you Chris

Chris was a good person and an incredible nurse. She was extremely hardworking and devoted to her family. She was always willing to help her unit and coworkers at the VA with a moment's notice. A selfless caregiver to her veteran patients. Thank you, Chris. May you rest in peace. God's angel is going home to the Father in heaven...

I knew Chris from the VA. She was a wonderful person, very honest and honorable. She was a excellent nurse and a warm care giver. Bless her and I know there is a special spot for her among Gods angels.
