Bonnie, Clint and Charlotte, I was very sorry to hear Chris lost his long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Chris and I had been friends since high school, although I had not seen him in a while, we kept in touch via email. Chris could always light up a room with his smile and wonderful sense of humor. He adored his family very much. Chris will be missed by all who knew him. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

To the Duckworth family; I have such wonderful memories of our families adventuures at the Jersey shore and swamping the canoe in the bay. I am very sorry to learn of your loss. Chris was the youngest, but probably the toughest of the clan as I remember him. Thank you for taking me under your wings so many years ago.

Sometimes you are given a friend that makes a difference. You may not talk every day, or see each other for weeks, but the friendship never diminishes. It's the comfort of knowing that person is just a short drive, a call, or email away that makes the difference. Daddy Duck was that. Bonnie knows where I'd come when things were hard to figure out. Chris Duckworth is my friend and always will be. So now, let's celebrate this life in Duck style.

To a man who was a darned good boss when I worked with him at Electric Boat,but had the honor of working with him at Milcom Systems as fellow welders. What a great loss to us all who had the pleasure of working with him! Always in good spirits and always ready to help anyone. Chris was one of he smartest men I ever knew.I always enjoyed being around him.gonna miss you old friend.

Chris, how do you say goodbye to someone who has been more than a friend, you've always been a special part of our family. Our hearts are aching with the thought of not seeing your wide-eyed smile and quirky, devilish grin ever again...you retained your sense of humor, sarcasm, "modesty", and all consuming love for everyone right up to the end..you are and forever will be missed by all of us.
