Chet Dewitt Obituary

Chet E. (CJ) Dewitt, Jr. SUMMERVILLE - Chet E. Dewitt, Jr., "CJ" entered into eternal rest on January 6, 2021. CJ was born October 26, 1996 to Chet E. Dewitt, Sr. and Karen A. Dewitt. In addition to his parents, CJ is survived by his grandparents, Robert E. Barton, Randy Bland, David, and Ginger Dewitt; and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Barbara S. Barton, Virginia "Jenny" Dewitt Hall, and Maxine Bland; and his grandfather, Eugene Dewitt. CJ loved spending time with his family, fishing, four wheeling, mud runs, and his boys. Most of all, he loved being with his dog, Gunner Dewitt. A visitation will be held on January 13, 2021 from 6 - 8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 14th at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at Summerville Cemetery and Mausoleum (1330 Boonehill Rd., Summerville, SC 29483).
