Cheryl Windham Obituary

WINDHAM, Cheryl TIMMONSVILLE - Cheryl Mixon Anderson Windham, 59, died March 15, 2005, at her residence after an illness. She was born in Florence County a daughter of E.L. and Willaree Hancock Mixon. Cheryl was the first paramedic in the Timmonsville Rescue Squad and had served on the squad for more than 25 years. She was a member of Timmonsville Southern Methodist Church. For a number of years she was employed as an office administrator with the United Insurance Company. Surviving are: her parents of Timmonsville; her husband, Donnie E. Windham; a son, William (Cynthia) McClam, Timmonsville; a daughter, Sharon Bazen, Timmonsville; two step-sons, Eric Windham, Raleigh, N.C., and Patrick Windham, Wilmington, N.C.; a brother, Donald Mixon, Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; a sister, Sandra (Ronald) Kneip, Orange Park, Fla., and five grandchildren, Shane Keith, Briana, Meagan, Johnathan and Brendon McClam. Funeral services will be held today, March 17, 2005, at 3 o'clock in the Timmonsville Southern Methodist Church. Interment will be in Lake Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery directed by LAYTON-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME. Memorials may be made to the Timmonsville Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 9, Timmonsville, S.C. 29161.
