With my late husband Flemming, on our annual Edisto visits to my Mum, Sheila Beardsley, we enjoyed the incomparable hospitality of Mickey and Cheryl, in whose welcoming house everything was a celebration. Cheryl will always be a shining star for me, and I will always be thankful for the joy of having known her. To Mickey and the Van Metre family I send my love and deepest condolences.

I have a lovely memory of spending time with Cheryl and Mickey at their home celebrating King Charles“ coronation. Cheryl was so gracious and fun. And it showed that she was very much loved in the Edisto community.
