Chelsea Ann Christ Ravenel, SC - Chelsea Ann Christ, 28, of Ravenel, SC, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 17, 2021. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 22, 2021, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC 29414. Her funeral service will be private. Chelsea was born October 4, 1992, in Charleston, SC, a daughter of Van C. Christ and Beverly Kornahrens Christ. The first impressions people would notice about Chelsea were her shyness and how kind she was to everyone. Although she had some form of kidney disease since the age of eleven, she had always been strong during the many hospital stays. She endured much physical pain with a constant quiet resolve. During her teens, Chelsea was part of the local 4-H riding group. She and her beloved horse, JoJo, competed and always seemed to win at some level. Chelsea was always thoughtful to her father. She enjoyed making breakfast for him, watching their TV shows together, and never failed to call him. Chelsea had become the young woman who enjoyed her time with her mom. The conversations between mother and daughter will always be cherished. She had developed a talent of organizing and could be a drill sergeant during household chores. She never forgot to tell her parents daily she loved them. "To my Best Friend and daughter; no one can understand the grief or pain one suffers unless they lose a child. I thank God for the time we had together. Your whole life was pain and suffering. We will miss you so much. We all will strive for heavenly places so together we can live eternally. Rest In Peace my sweetheart. Love, Dad." Besides her parents of Ravenel, SC, she is also survived by her brothers, Brian Christ, Daniel Naone, Nicholas Christ, and Jonathan Hogue; birth mother, Tammy Tanner; maternal aunts, Diane Hogue (Andy) and Cynthia Dawson (David); uncle, Eddie Kornahrens (Laurie); paternal uncles, Cary Christ (Pam) and Michael Christ (Linda). Additionally, she was blessed with many cousins and a great-aunt, Margaret Destefano. She held a special love in her heart for her 94 years old grandfather, George E. Kornahrens. Chelsea was preceded in death by her sister, Megan Christadulos; grandma, Beverly Hart Kornahrens; and uncles, David Dawson and Andrew Hogue.
