Charlotte Arnold Obituary

Charlotte Arnold WALTERBORO - Charlotte Arnold, born November 3, 1930 in Lackawanna, NY, died Saturday, July 13, 2013. She was the daughter of Louis and Sophia Strychasz; sister to Louis Strychasz (Marie) of Boynton Beach FL and Dorothy Strychasz of Boise ID; mother to Mike Hannah (predeceased). She leaves behind her children George Hannah (Lanette) of Las Vegas NV, Jeri Haga (John) of Goose Creek, SC and Terry Hannah (Leslie) of Summerville SC; her grandchildren Heather Gable (Ryan), Justin Hannah, Neal Haga (Jeannie), Kyle, Chris and Ryan Hannah; Ria Mitchell, Brook & Brittany Hannah and great-grandchildren Sage & Rylee Gable and Samantha Hannah. She was a veteran of the USAF having served during the Korean Conflict. She continued to serve her country as a federal civil servant retiring from the Naval Weapons Station Charleston as a Quality Assurance Inspector. Her last days were spent at the Veterans Victory House in Walterboro SC where she was content and well cared for. She lived a loving and sacrificial life and was deeply loved by her family. The service of "home-going" will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, July 18, at McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek. The family will receive friends and guests at 6:00 P.M.
