Charlie Hutto Obituary

HUTTO, Charlie BAMBERG - Mr. Charles Henry "Charlie" Hutto, 64, of 4773 Heritage Highway, died Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at one o'clock Thursday, May 5, 2005 in The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes, Ehrhardt-Bamberg Chapel. Interment will follow in Southend Cemetery. Mr. Hutto was born November 29, 1940 in Bamberg County and was the son of the late Thomas Murray Hutto and Pauline Sanders Hutto. He was the co-owner and operator of Hutto's Auto Salvage for 20 years. He was a retired mechanic and was the maintenance supervisor at Dixie Lawn Service. He will always be remembered for his love of fishing. Survivors are: his wife, Eloise Suggs Hutto; his children, Jay Hutto of Bamberg and Robert Hutto of Bamberg; a special friends, Amy Hightower of Bamberg; grandson, Brandon Chad Hutto; brother, Murray Hutto of Bamberg; sister, Elizabeth Williams of Barnwell; and several nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Bamberg County Relay for Life. Family and friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at THE BRICE W. To The Family of Mr. Charlie Hutto:

Please know that I am with regret to learn of the passing of Mr. Charlie Hutto & my prayers & thoughts are with you during your time of grief & I pray that you will find comfort from God's Holy Word. During my time as a SCDOT Hwy Inspector - G'town, SC of knowing Mr. Charlie "it was a keen source of pleasure to be associated with him & to feel the inspiring influence of his friendship, personality & professionalism. Mr. Charlie will be missed by all of us now & the future to come.
