Charles Tuten Obituary

Charles (Danniel) Tuten Summerville - Charles Danniel "Danny" Tuten, 61, of Summerville, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at his residence. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 1 o'clock to 3 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 3 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lowcountry Orphan Relief, 1850 Truxtun Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405. Danny was born on February 24, 1961 in Jersey City, New Jersey, son of Docia Edith Tuten of Summerville and the late Walter Leroy Tuten. He was a graduate of Summerville High School. He owned and operated Action Heating & Air. He was a Mason and a past Master at Ridgeville Masonic Lodge 361 and a dual member at Summerville Masonic Lodge 234. Danny had a huge heart and giving nature and will he will be dearly missed. Survivors include two children: Nicki Gilbert (Tyler) of Ladson and Daniel Tuten, Jr. (Meredith) of Moncks Corner.
