To the many friends and family who shared our Dad's life with him and continue to share ours with us -- thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers. We have always been inspired by his strength, energy, and perserverance. His positive influence obviously touched many and we were fortunate to be a part of his life, and him a part of ours. I can't begin to tell you how much I have appreciated Charlie over the years. He was always a champion for me and my business with his Peterbilt dealerships and always a friend to me and my husband, Ken, outside of work. Such a sweetheart! I am also grateful that we kept in touch after he retired. One thing is for sure, he didn't miss a thing in life - always had a blast at everything he did and made sure those around him did the same.

Your dad was a man who climbed every mountain. He was a personal friend and an inspriation to me.I admired his accomplishments and was appreciatived of his frienship and support. Always rememder he had many friends who feel the same way.

I was lucky enough to become friends with Charley when i worked for him at Peterbilt of Savannah and stay friends with him after. Those of us that got to know him will always love him and miss him.

Chris, Scott, Chuck, I am glad a part of my life was knowing and learning from Charlie and all of you, he was a very special person and had a lot to teach us all. Life is to brief but memories last forever and our times with Charlie will certainly headline My Book of Memories. Irene, Mom told me about Charlie this morning. Just yesterday I pulled out Logans old baby clothes (she is now 16 )and found the beautiful dress you both had given to Logan when she was born.
