Charles Ott Charleston - Charles Roland Ott, 74, of Charleston, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018. Charlie was born on July 20, 1944 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Samuel David and Mary Forsberg Ott. He graduated from Bishop England High School and the Baptist College. Charlie's US Postal Career spanned 37 years. Charlie is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lynda Sisson; son, Kevin; granddaughter, Lucy; brothers, David (Sally), Gerald (Sandy), Eddie; sisters, Pam Straughn (Jerry), Mary Ann Albertson, (David); sister-in-laws, Delores Rupley (Greg), Mary Ellen Williams (Jimmy) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one niece, Mary Frances Ott. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org). Online Condolences may be offered at www.CharlestonFunerals.com. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Charleston Rifle Club, 2221 Heriot Street, Charleston, on Sunday, January 13th at 2:00 PM.
