Anne and Family,
We are so shocked and saddened to hear the news of Dr. Kisabeth's passing. He has been the pediatrician for my daughters for the past 20 years. He could calm a mother's worriers by just walking into the examining room with his calm and caring nature. The Charleston community has lost a wonderful man and great doctor too soon.

I knew him as "Chuckie" growing up on Arthur Street in Plymouth, MI. He was my best friend as we learned to walk, run, ride bikes, and do the things young boys do and get in trouble. Missed him when the family moved to TN. Called him up about 4 years ago upon learning he was in Charleston asking for "Chuckie", talked for a long time that evening. We were able to get together a few weeks later for an afternoon of catching up. We spoke of spending time together and meeting his family upon a return to visit to Charleston. Unfortunately that did not happened as I was attending to my mom who recently passed to join the Lord. You can be assured she will keep track of him there just like his mom and mine did as we were growing up. Couldn't get by those two with anything, caught us every time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To Mrs. Kisabeth and Family,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you as you travel through this very difficult time in your life. Dr. Kisabeth has left such an impact on the lives of so many. Whether it was through his kind, gentle smile and sense of humor or through his knowledge and expertise that allowed him to make that call that saved some childs life. My family was fortunate enough to inherit Dr. Kisabeth when Dr. Ector retired. Even though my children are all above 18 now, they all still have a fondness for their Dr.Kisabeth. May God bless you and help you through this time. Thank you for sharing this man that meant so much to you with so many others.

I remember how I would wait & wait for Aunt Jimmye to bring little Chuck over to play when we were small kids. And when he came with his mother & father all the way to Michigan for my July 1973 wedding. That was so nice of him but that was "Chuck."
He is now with his parents in heaven.

To the Kisabeth Family:

Our thoughts and prayer are with your family. Dr. Kisabeth was a wonderful doctor. I had the pleasure of getting to know him because he attended to my son in Dr. Malcolm Rhodes' absence. Dr. Kisabeth always made me feel comfortable. He assured me that he would take just as good of care of my son as Dr. Rhodes, and he did just that. For many years I experienced his care and love for children first hand. My son is now 21 years old and I bless God for Dr. Kisabeth and the staff at Parkwood Pediatrics. I pray that God sends you a comforter during period of your life. May the peace of God be with you and your entire family.

Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Psalms 30:5b Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

Jeremiah 31:13 I will turn their mourning into gladness. I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

Dear Anne,
I am so sorry for your lost. Chuck and I worked together at Lockheed Martin, he was indeed one of the nicest people I have ever worked with. We played alot of softball games together at Lockheed and he was great player and team mate. Barely remember baby Steve, but I do fondly remember Chuck. May God bring peace and comfort to all of you a this sad time.

My family and I are deeply saddened by Dr. Kisabeth's death. He was our three daughters' pediatrician over the last 15 years. He took care of all of them since birth. Dr. Kisabeth was so kind, gentle and patient with them. We last saw him in January and as always,he took his time to listen to the kids' comments and questions...never rushed or in a hurry. Many have asked over the years, why we chose to drive an hour to Parkwood when many doctors were closer and more convenient. The answer was when you find a doctor like Dr. Kisabeth that you trust and respect, you stay. We pray that God will comfort your family during this difficult time.

Dear Anne and the entire family,

Dolly and I know that words are of little consolation at this time. We do want you all to know, however, that out thoughts and prayers are with of you. As parents, we entrusted the care of our three children to Chuck and there is no physician with a loving, caring and kind demeanor any greater than Chuck's. As our children all grew and your girls and our boys were classmates, I know that our children are grieving right along with you. Perhaps one of the small comforts you will be able to find is knowing that Chuck had such profound impact on his friends, patients and the entire community.

Mrs. Kisabeth & Family, My heart goes out to you all. Dr. Kisabeth has been my childrens doctor for 20 years. Both my boys are grown now. My daughter Katie is 11 and she loved him very much. Last night we talked about our favorite memories of him. He always listened to the comments and concerns that Katie had and that made her feel so at ease in going to the doctor. He always made you feel like your child was a priority and never rushed through an appointment. All that kindness and caring for people sure did shine through. ~ Beth & Katie Barber

I was at MUSC in Pediatric Neurology when Dr. Kisabeth was training. When my youngest children needed urgent care, I was always relieved when he was the physician on call. I pray that his family will find comfort and strength in God's love during this sad time.
