Charles Huff Obituary

HUFF, Charles Mr. Charles Henry "Pops" Huff, 77, of 139 Red Cypress Drive, Goose Creek, died Thursday morning, November 24, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2005, in The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Hughes Cemetery, Cottageville. Mr. Huff was born May 4, 1928 in Colleton County and was a son of the late Frank Thomas Huff and Lillie Mae Hiers Huff. He was retired from Ernie's Auto Sales. Surviving are: two sons, Ricky Huff and his wife Joanne of Walterboro, Ronnie Huff of Goose Creek; six daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda Faye Mixon and Rickey of Goose Greek, Brenda Kaye Jackson and Larry of New Port News, VA; Nancy Edwards and James of Goose Creek; Charlene Preston and Kyle of Round O; Shirley Huff of Willard, NC and June Pierson and Allen of Goose Creek; a daughter-in-law Sheila Huff of Hanahan; six brothers, K.D. Huff of Ravenel, Eural C. Huff of North Charleston; Mack Huff of Concoran, GA; Clyde Huff, Monroe Huff and Andrew Huff, all of TN; and three sisters, Ruth Davis and Frances Mizzell, both of Walterboro; and Eva Hiers of Lodge. There are sixteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Ernie Huff and William "Bubba" Huff, and two brothers, Adam Huff and Perry Huff.
