Dear Sherril and Charles,
I don't know if Sherril remembers me, but I had her as a teacher at the Addlestone Hebrew Academy in the mid-to-late 1970s in math....GREAT teacher! We live in FL, but I saw the obituary for your father/father-in-law and wanted to pass along my sincerest condolences. I guess there are very few Cuzzells around and the name just jumped right out at me. Actually, Charles (Sherril's Charles) is forever etched in my memory for what was perhaps the most famous play in the school's annual (1978) student-faculty game, as I hit a buzzer beater over Charles to win it for the students....fond memories (but only cause I hit the shot! (: ).
May your father's/father-in-law's memory serve only as a blessing to your whole family and may you know from no more such sorrow.

As a fiend of Sandra from years ago, I was struck by how much your parents loved all of you and how close all of you were. I lost my mother 4 years ago and know how painful it is but also know how fortunate we are if we have parents we treasure. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

My heart is breaking for your loss. He was such a fine and wonderful person. Our family has known the Cuzzell's all of our lives. He reminded me of my father, Roy Crowe. May God be with the family during this difficult time. With heartfelt thoughts, prayers and love. Rest in Peace, our family friend, Mr. Cuzzell.
