i worked with charlie at the Bell System in the late seventies and always looked up to him as a veretan of the business with a high level of technical competence. Over the years we had lost touch but he was a man of strong character with a thankful heart. He was so proud of his family. God bless you all.

Murial, Beth and I are so sorry to hear about Charlie. We have many fond memories of both of you. I, of course, when he and I worked at Southern Bell and when Charlie served in the National Guard.

To the Clarkin family. I served with Charlie in the National
Guard during the 1960's. I was at the Sumter Guards banquet when he received the Honor Ring. Charlie was a good soldier and a fine friend, and he will be missed. Jimmy Simmons, retired National Guard Technician.
