Charles Amole Obituary

AMOLE, Charles Chief Charles Alfred Amole USN (Ret.), 74, of Summerville, husband of Ramona Perry Amole died Friday morning, December 3, 2004 at his residence. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 3 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 until 8 o'clock this evening. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 3870 Leeds Ave., Suite 101, North Charleston, SC 29405 or First Baptist Church of Jedburg, 121 Brewer Road, Summerville, SC 29483. Mr. Amole was born January 24, 1930 in West Palm Beach, Florida, son of the late Charles H. Amole and Victoria Griffis Amole. He attended schools in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve. He retired from the United States Navy. He was CPO with Tri-County Rental. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are three sons, Danny Amole of Summerville, Gary McCard (Rhonda Carter) of Ravenel, and Darin Amole of Summerville; three daughters, Raetta Nash (Bob Nash) of James Island, Becky Smith (Ted Smith) of James Island, and Jo Ann Amole of Summerville; two sisters, Helen Hosier of Okeechobee, FL and Margie Mosdell of Okeechobee, FL; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Alice Dodd; daughter, Debbie Amole Ketchum; son, Larry McCard; and brother, James Corbett. Arrangements by JAMES A.
