Cecil David Jeffcoat CORDSVILLE, SC - Cecil David Jeffcoat, age 83, of Cordsville SC, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 4, 2011. He was born in Barnwell SC, on March 12th 1928 to the late Johnnie Jeffcoat and Mary Simmons Jeffcoat. He loved the outdoors. He was a big "kidder" and loved to joke with people. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising chickens, camping, cooking, his vegetable garden, and country music. Cecil is survived by his sons: Larry Cassavaw (Jeanie) of Hanahan, SC, and Wayne Cassavaw of Cordsville, SC; daughters: Linda Blaton (Timmy) of Hanahan, SC, Judy Warren of North Charleston, SC, and Elsie Ambrite (Dillon) of Daniel Island, SC; grandchildren: Brenda Caulder, Angie Bunch, David Blaton, Aaron Ambrite, Ann Marie, Pam, and Adam Cassavaw; sister-in-law: Louise Arant of Barnwell, SC; great-grandchildren: Brad, Jared, Travis, Daniel, and Jacob; and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Jeffcoat. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston SC. Pastor Henry Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends this evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
