Cecil Carr Obituary

Judy and Family,
I have just heard the shocking news of Cecil's passing. Cecil and I shared many laughs and good times together, growing up next door to each other in Byrnes Down Subdivision. He also went on many of our family trips to the Atlanta Braves games thru the years. My regret is we had not kept in touch during these passing years. He was a great friend. It was nice to see the family pictures of him. I know he will be sadly missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.

I was so sorry to hear of your husband passing Judy. I remember you calling on me through the years & rarely did you not mention Cecil with much love and respect. I know it's impossible to put one foot in front of the other now but God is with you & Cecil will be in your heart forever. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.

Bub was was the funniest person he knew ! I'm going to miss his laugh but will always remember his good heart even if it didn't last as long as we wanted. Godspeed Cousin Cecil.

I am so incredibly sorry to hear of Cecil's sudden death. There are so many happy memories that go as far back as 1975 when we were all rambunctius teenagers. One could always count on Cecil's quick wit & contagious smile; something that could always light up a room. He & Lee are "together" again....giving each other h*** about Nascar, and laughing about the days when they'd call each other "Eel Rekcud" & "Licec Rrac". My heartfelt sympathies to all of you.

Cecil had such a great smile and laugh, I met him when I was 14 or so back in 1978 at Folly Beach. whenever I saw him over the years here or there he always had that infectious smile and laugh and great attitude and just lit up a room. the Jordans prayers and thoughts are with the family.
