My Pa was a great man. He was tough as nails, but was still compassionate with everyone he knew. Everyone knew him and he knew everyone. He will be deeply missed, and forever remebered. I love you Pa. Your grandson George Henry.

Fred and I planned to come tonight but the weather is not good enough to travel. I will call and write later. With love, Carolyn
