Cecelia Smiley Obituary
Cecelia H. Smiley, 92, of Rockford, passed away April 22, 2017, in Presence St. Anne Center, following a long illness. Born April 28, 1924, in Chicago, IL to Antoni and Helen Czemski. Cecelia married James H. Smiley and was a claims processor for the U.S. Government. Survivors include son, Stan (Robin) Smiley of Rockford; daughters, Kathleen Alsup of Rockford and Joann Smiley of Loves Park; 3 grandchildren, Kristin, Jordan and Dustin; 3 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, James and son, Terry.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Friday, April 28, 2017, in Anderson-Long-Klontz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 6825 Weaver Rd., Rockford, IL, with Rev. Lester McClelland, officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Kibble Korner Pet Pantry, 421 South Rockton Avenue, Rockford IL 61102.
