Catherin Young CHARLESTON - Funeral service for Mrs. Catherine Young, 94, the widow of Mr. James Young, will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in New Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 18 F St. ,Charleston, SC 29403. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens; 2915 Ashley Phosphate Rd., North Charleston, SC 29418. Family will be receiving friends at the mortuary this evening, January 31, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Mrs. Young is survived by her children: Audreyole McCants Parker, Angela Davis (Nathaniel), Octavia Young and Alexis Young; 10 grandchildren: David, Nicole, Eric, Correy, Tonya, Jovon, Michael, Ashley, Derrick and Brian; a host of great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Hester Young; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and compassion.
