Catherine San Souci MONCKS CORNER - Catherine Ashworth San Souci, 71, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Wednesday at her residence. Her memorial service will be 3:00 PM Sunday afternoon, August 26, 2012, in St. Stephen Episcopal Church, directed by DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow in St. Stephen Episcopal Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Stephen Episcopal Church, PO BOX 517, St. Stephen, SC 29479. Mrs. San Souci was born June 6, 1941, in Whitinsville, MA, a son of James Edward Ashworth and Catherine Ballou Ashworth. She was a member of St. Stephen Episcopal Church, loved being a foster mother and raising children, and enjoyed sewing. Mrs. San Souci was preceded in death by her son, Victor Joseph San Souci, III. Surviving are her husband, Victor Joseph San Souci, Jr.; two daughters, Mary Catherine San Souci and her fiance;e, Allen De Forde, Jr., of Pearland, TX and Christine S. Hancock and her husband, Jerry, of Moncks Corner; four sons, James Edward San Souci and his wife, Becky, of Moncks Corner, Matthew Todd San Souci and his wife, Mandy, of Ladson, Michael Joseph San Souci, of Moncks Corner, and John Michael San Souci, of Moncks Corner; four brothers, James Ashworth, of Goose Creek, Jeff Ashworth, of Auburn, MA, John Ashworth of Auburn, MA, and Roger Ballou, of Woonsocket, RI; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
