Catherine "Kathleen" Marie Fitzpatrick Morgan CHARLESTON - Kathleen began her life's journey in Pottsville, PA, where she was the youngest of John and Margaret Fitzpatrick's seven children and a star basketball player for Pottsville Catholic High School. She married her childhood friend and high school sweetheart, David Morgan, in June of 1958, after he graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy. Together they traveled the world and raised two sons, Sean and David. Kathleen was a loving, generous woman who was known for helping anyone in need. She was fiercely protective of her family and friends. After 70 years of friendship and 63 years of marriage, and a wonderful retirement in Charleston (SC), Dave held her hand as Kathleen was called home to heaven. Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband, Dave, two sons, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 2:00pm, on Saturday, May 22, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Summerville, SC.
