Catherine Grant Obituary
GRANT, Catherine The relatives and friends of Mrs. Catherine Williams Grant "Beck", and those of her husband the late Mr. Solomon Grant, are invited to attend her funeral service 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at St. Matthew AME Church, 4345 Davison Road, Ravenel, SC. Rev. Evon Robinson is the pastor and Rev. James Bernard Grant is the eulogist. Interment will follow at Lowndes Cemetery. Viewing for Mrs. Grant is Tuesday, 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church. The Christian Wake will begin at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Grant is survived by her daughters and sons, Mrs. Beulah Manigault of Charleston, Mrs. Marguerite (Samuel, Sr.) Givens of Ravenel, Mrs. Gloria Holmes and Mr. Daniel Grant both of Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Alphonso (Ardell) Grant of Queens, N.Y. and Mr. Joseph Grant, Sr., of N. Charleston; 41 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to DOROTHY'S HOME FOR FUNERALS.
