Cassie, you introduced me to the world of Pomeranians!! I still remember how they would run around in circles in your back yard.... so cute....

Our loss of the beautiful little Cassie hurts. She suffered so much, a loving and kind soul. May the love, peace and grace of Christ be with you all. I was so glad that I got to meet her three sisters.

My thoughts and prayers are with Cassie's family and friends. I worked with Cassie a long time ago as an intern at SSA and I remember her always being so kind and sweet. A wonderful person. You'll be missed, Cassie, by so many.

My thoughts are with Cassie's family and all her friends. I worked with Cassie throughout my years at SSA, and though we were at opposite sides of the country I always felt Cassie's warmth, humor, and friendship as if we lived next door. She will be missed by everyone who knew her, and always loved and remembered. You were a wonderful woman, Cassie.

On behalf of my family, I send our warmest thoughts and best wishes now, and in the days ahead. It was a great pleasure to know Cassie and to have been able to work with her these past eight years. I will never forget the first time I met her on a business trip from SSA Seattle to Charleston and I went to shake her hand, of course she passed right over and gave me a big hug, made me feel right at home and was every bit of the southern hospitality that Cassie always had.

Her good nature and kindness, which persisted even to the end of her life, are just one token by which the overall goodness of her spirit is made obvious -- and a sign that her memory will remain strong in our hearts and minds. My prayers and thoughts are with you all today and always. You are a beautiful soul Cassie Lewis, peace be with you now.
