Casey Ricker Obituary

Casey Neal Ricker MYSTIC, CT - Casey Neal Ricker passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Mystic CT August 30th. He was born in San Jose, CA to Jean (Kibbe) Ricker of Burnsville NC and Gordon L. Ricker who predeceased him. He moved to Connecticut in 1994 from North Charleston, SC where he left behind many great friends. At the time of his passing he was employed as a civilian on Naval Submarine base New London , Groton, CT. He was a graduate of Stall High School in North Charleston and from the University of Connecticut. He is survived by his beloved Dianna "Lynn" (Lookabill) Ricker, son Jacob (Alley) Ricker of Mystic CT, daughter Emily (Julian) Romero of Santa Rita GU, three adored grandchildren, his mother of NC, sisters Teresa (Tom) Godfrey and Darcy (Allen) Strand of Aberdeen SD and several other much loved family members. Dinoto's Funeral Home, 17 Pearl St, Mystic is assisting the family with arrangements and a visitation service for family and friends will be held there from 5-7 Friday September 7th. Family and friends are invited to the home after the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations in Casey's honor be made to the Wounded Warrior project or the charity of your choice.
