Rev. Casey Child's was always a friend for the mission work in the Republic of Malawi. We cherish his life and ministry. God bless the family.

Lois I am sorry for the loss of your husband and my friend. I was unaware of Casey's passing until today. If I can be of any help please let me know.

Dear sis Childs please find comfort in knowing how much Rev. Childs touched so many lives here at Greater Zion and during his time here on earth. Thougts and prayers are with you and the family from all of us today and always. You and Rev. Charles kindness and love will stay in our hearts forever. To Mrs. Childs and family, I wish to thank you for sharing Rev. Childs with my family at Greater Zion. I meet Rev. Childs while I was in South Carolina visiting family, and he left a lasting impression on my soul. He will be missed by everyone who he has meet. Rev. Childs is absent from body but present with God. So to you Mrs. Childs and family I say take great joy in knowing that his work on this earth was accomplished and he is at peace now.

So sorry to hear of the homegoing of Casey. We were friends throughout high school @ Douglass. I was in the class of 68. RIP Casey

Mrs. Childs and the Childs family the loss of Rev. Childs was a great loss to me and my family. Rev. Childs was a wonderful addition to Greater Zion Church and he will truly be missed. He always had an encouraging word for the children and young adults of the church. He always was a wonderful person and minister who touched my heart and will always hold a special place there. He will be missed by all.

Mrs. Childs And the Childs family sadden me to have to offer condolences on the passing off a wonderful person. When I came back to Greater Zion Rev. Childs welcomed me with open arms. I will always have fond memories of Rev. Childs. He had a kind word for every one especially the children. Rev. Childs light has gone out on this earth but is glowing brightly in heaven.

To Mrs. Childs and the Childs family the loss of Rev. Casey J. Childs II is deeply felt in my family. Rev. Childs was a bright and welcomed addition to the Greater Zion AME family. During his time Rev Childs touched many souls and hearts especially the children and young adults of Greater Zion. He touched my heart and soul as well, in doing so Rev. Childs will always have a special place in my heart. He will truly be missed by myself and many others.

Mrs. Childs, I wanted to let you know that my families prayers and thoughts are with you doing the lost or Rev. Childs. His leadership in ministry will never be forgotten and most of all the impact it made on my commitment to follow Jesus. Our children were babies and now they are all grown up, you both then blessed our grandchildren. As a woman seeing his love for his Princess was an inspiration to Ricky and myself to make our marriaqe a top priority.

I'm so saddened by his departure, but happy to know he had a relationship with the Lord and is now visiting with with other family member and mostly importantly with his Lord and Saviour in heaven. I was so sadden to hear the news of Rev. Childs death. He was so dear to our hearts. I remember when my mom had open heart surgery, Rev. Childs was right there to give her God's word and to encourage her. He always believed in me and my boys and encouraged us to never give up and stay on the Battle Field for the Lord. I can hear him singing it now. Truly Rev Childs stayed on the Battle Field. For he was a solider for Christ! His faith never waivered.
My children and I were blessed to have you both cross our paths and lead us while at Bethel AME (Anderson). Sis Childs I will keep you and your family in my prayers. May God continue to comfort and strengthen you. Know that our loss is Heaven's gain. With deepest sympathy.

Making a decision to move my membership back to my home Church was a easy choice during the leadership of Rev. Childs. It always warm my heart that every visit home and attending church he remembered my name and knew my siblings. I thank God that Rev. Childs added a blessing to my home by praying and being a part of my home blessing. I do understand the pain, dismay and healing process you are now confronted with. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal!!

He had gone to Oklahoma to attend a funeral service. He and Mrs. Childs drove from Oklahoma to St. Peters, Wando to preach. He was very committed and honorable.
