Carroll Cease
Summerville - Carroll Marvin Cease, resident of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 89. He was born on June 9, 1936 in High Point, North Carolina.
He was predeceased by his parents Charles Marvin Cease, Sally Marie Cease, and brothers, Charlie, Jerry, and Bobby (BG) Cease.
Carroll is survived by his wife Dian Walker Cease and children Barry Cease, Theresa Halverson, and Krisylan Komakech. Also survived by his grandchildren Nicolas, Sydney, Jorja, Sally & Charlie.
He was a veteran of the US Army and spent his career as a builder in the Charleston area. He was a member of Christ's Sanctified Holy Church in Hanahan, SC.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Christ's Sanctified Holy Church located at 1235 Belvedere Dr, Hanahan, SC 29410. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life service will take place at the same venue starting at 6:00 pm. Burial will occur at the Christ's Sanctified Holy Church campground located in Perry, GA on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025 at 2 pm. The family will begin receiving guests starting at 11 am.
Carroll will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather by his children and grandchildren. His church will remember him as an encouraging force and as someone always asking the question: how can we grow the church and introduce more people to Christ?
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Christ's Sanctified Holy Church, Hanahan, SC in Carroll's name.
