Carrie Eady-Jenkins Obituary


EADY-JENKINS, Carrie The relatives and friends of Mrs. Carrie Eady-Jenkins formerly of Charleston, S.C., are invited to attend her funeral services which will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at 1 p.m., at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, 44 Nassau Street, Charleston. The Rev. Dr. William Swinton, Jr., is the pastor. Interment services will follow in St. James A.M.E. Cemetery, Awendaw, S.C. Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her children Elizabeth, Arthur, Jr., Cynthia, and Saundra Jenkins, all of New York City. Her grandchildren Kristen, and Tamara Jenkins both of New York City, one adopted daughter, Ms. Katrina Eady, of New York City, her siblings, Mr. Harold Eady, Sr., of Charleston, S.C., and Mr. John Eady, of New York City and Ms. Helen Eady, of New York City, and a special friend, Mrs. Marthalee Urbina, and a host of cousins, friends, and other loving relatives. The viewing for Mrs. Jenkins will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2005, in the Rev. G.W. Heyward, Jr., Memorial Chapel, 14 Dewey St., Charleston, S.C., from 2 p.m., until 8 p.m., with the family hour beginning at 7 p.m. compassionate and professional services have been entrusted to the care of G.W.
