Carolyn Zimmerman Obituary

I just found out about Carolyn's death when my Christmas card was returned. I wish I had know earlier so I could express my condolences to her family in a more timely manner. Carolyn and I played soccer together in Northern Virginia. Although I have not seen her in many years, we always tried to keep up with each other's lives through our Christmas cards. She was kind, witty, and great fun to be around. I greatly enjoyed the time we played soccer together as well as her thoughtful greetings to my family each year. My sympathy to her family and friends.

Although we only knew Carolyn a short time when we were next door neighbors in Mooresville, my husband and I grew fond of her. We just found out about her passing and were deeply saddened and shocked. Our sincere condolences to her parents and family.

I met carolyn at navy federal while working in the Image Section and she was a dear and sweet person. It wasn't a time that didn't go by that I didn't think about her. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with her and her family.

Carolyn and I became friends during the trials and tribulations of implementing an image system at work in the early 90's. I have always enjoyed her wit, her humor and her perceptiveness. Although I know it has been a while, it seems like Carolyn and I were just at a conference and talking like old times about life as single women, scuba diving, relationships and work. We always think we have all the time in the world to reconnect with those we love.I am sorry to have lost those opportunities but I am grateful to have Carolyn as my friend. My prayers are with Carolyn and her family.

Carolyn will be sorely missed. I worked closely with her at Navy Federal. She was bright, learned quickly, and was very dedicated. I considered her to be a close friend. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I first became friends with Carolyn while working at Peoples Drug headquarters. She was such a joy to work with while there. She so impressed me with her knowledge and competence, that I invited her to join us at Navy Federal several years later. While at Navy Federal she touched many people and formed strong bonds that were maintained even though she left the area to continue her path through life. Her wit, smile and loyalty to friends will dearly be missed. I feel privileged to have known her personally. My prayers are with her and her family.

Carolyn and I were co-workers for many years at Navy Federal, and continued to remain friends after her move to North Carolina. She had a warm heart and a wonderful sense of humor, and will be dearly missed. May peace be with her family.

I first met Carolyn when a group of girlfriends got together for a beach weekend in Emerald Isle. I will remember Carolyn's great laugh, kindness, loyalty to friends, and sense of fun. I extend my deepest sympathies to her family.

I've known Carolyn for over 15 years. We met during the start of my career here at Navy Federal in Virginia. Carolyn was someone I could always count on both professionally and personally. Carolyn had a warm heart and would often bake and share all of her wonderful recipes. She had a good sense of humor and often an interesting perspective on things. I will miss Carolyn. My prayers go out to her family.

We spent many summer vacations with Carolyn at Emerald Isle and we always had a great time and she will surely be missed by all of us. Our sympathy goes out to her family at this very difficult time.

Carolyn was a special person. She will be truly missed. Although I only knew Carolyn through work, she would always ask me about my kids. My prayers are with her family.

I have known Carolyn for a short time. Through work and casual conversation she expressed her pursuit of top quality, creative solutions to meet the needs of others. Our soul touches all we encounter in some way as we walk on this earth. Through encounters with others we experience growth inside. I was blessed to work with Carolyn as she passed through life. I pray Carolyn and her family have the peace of our Lord within.

Carolyn was a wonderful person and a dedicated professional. It was a distinct pleasure knowing and working with her. She will be sorely missed.

I have worked with Carolyn at Wachovia for 3 years. I have tremendous respect for the depth and breadth of her technical knowledge, and I had many occasions to be grateful for her willingness to help. She will be sorely missed by her colleagues. My condolences to her family.

My prayers and sympathy go out to Carolyn's family. I've known Carolyn for several years now and have so enjoyed working with her. She was a very special lady with a great personality, and a sense of humor that you often don't find in people in the corporate world. She will be missed not only for her knowledge at the office but for everything about her and that smile that never seemed to fade. She was such a pleasure to know personally and professionally.

Carolyn was a customer of mine when I worked with IBM. Later, she helped me gain employment with Wachovia as a contractor. I will miss her.

Its been a pleasure knowing and working with Carolyn over the past few years. I contacted Carolyn many times for assistance and she was always willing to lend a helping hand.



Carolyn will be missed.

I trained Carolyn at the fitness center at Wachovia. I truly enjoyed being a part of her life. Her humor during our sessions together made a bright spot in my day. My deepest sympathies to the family.
