Carolyn Rocco Obituary

ROCCO, Carolyn Entered into eternal rest on the evening of September 20, 2007, Carolyn Foelsch Rocco, widow of Louis Rocco. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at ten o'clock. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. Friends may call at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Rocco was born July 12, 1921 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Reverend Charles B. Foelsch and Charlotte Gray Foelsch. She graduated from Ashley Hall, Gettysburg College, Fordham University School of Law and received her Masters in Law from New York University. She retired as Vice-President from Equitable Life Assurance Society. Mrs. Rocco was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Daughters of American Revolution, Rebecca Motte Chapter, The United Daughters of The Confederacy and The American Needlepoint Guild. She is survived by two brothers: Dr. Charles B. Foelsch, Jr. of Tequesta, Florida and Donald H. Foelsch of Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
