Carolyn Narmour Meeks
Summerville - Carolyn Narmour Meeks, 81, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026. She was born January 30, 1945, in Greenwood, Mississippi, to Upton Narmour and Virginia Pennebaker. Carolyn was a graduate of Mississippi State College for Women and a dedicated teacher at Summerville High School for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, H. Taylor Meeks. She is survived by her son, Lance T. Meeks of Williamsburg, Virginia; her daughter, Cheri Meeks of Destin, Florida; and numerous grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m on April 11, 2026 at Summerville Baptist Church, 417 Central Avenue Summerville, SC 29483. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Summerville SPCA.
