Carolyn Frances (Eye) Menendez Charleston - Carolyn Frances (Eye) Menendez of Charleston, SC was called home to her Lord and Savior. She was surrounded by her children in her home. Carolyn was born to Cramer and Molly Eye in Hendersonville, NC. She retired from Anesthesia Associates. James Island Baptist Church was her spiritual home for many decades. The greatest joys of her life were her son, daughters and her much beloved grandson. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Cramer, and her husband, Robert. She is survived by her children: Michael, Victoria, Karen (Bill) Borger and Maria (Bill) Carpenter; Grandson, Will Borger; brother, Charles Eye and sister in law Esther Leitch; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at Oakdale Cemetery, Hendersonville, NC. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to James Island Baptist Church, 2023 Wappoo Drive, James Island, SC 29412 or Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Road, James Island, SC 29412 or the charity of one's choice.
