Carolyn Jett Obituary

Carolyn Jett Moncks Corner - Carolyn Keller Jett, 90, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Tuesday afternoon at her residence. Her memorial service will be 12:00 PM Friday, December 1, 2017, in the St. Stephen Evangelical Church, directed by DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Weimaraner Foundation Fund, C/O Rebecca Weimer, 14 Lashley Estates Drive, Swansea, IL 62226, or to the All American Dachshund Rescue, C/O Melissa Chenault, 2150 HWY 64, Lewisburg, TN 37091. Mrs. Jett was born July 29, 1927, in St. Stephen, SC, a daughter of Edwin P. Keller, Sr., and Lillian Bell Keller. She was a graduate of St. Stephen High School and attended Winthrop College. Mrs. Jett was a member of the St. Stephen Evangelical Church, the Berkeley Artist Guild, and the Weimaraner Club of America. In her earlier years, she worked as a teller and loan officer at the Carroll County Bank in Hillsville, VA, the First National Bank in Augusta, GA, and the Ryder System Federal Credit Union in Coconut Grove, FL. She loved dogs, painting, photography, and knitting. Mrs. Jett was the widow of Weldon O. Jett, Sr. Surviving are, a daughter, Suzette Jett of Conover, NC; a son, W.O. "Don" Jett, Jr., of Moncks Corner; a sister, LaRhoda Wrenn of Beaver Dam; a brother, Rev. E.P. Keller, Jr., of St. Stephen; and her grandchildren, Allie and Patrick Jett, and Wesley and Jessica Jett.
